Hello ICECUBES friends!

Here are some of the things ICECUBES has been involved in ‘offline’ recently. In September I participated in the ComiCulture symposium at the University of Houston Clear Lake along with artists like James O’Barr (The Crow). October was time for the Houston Zine Fest. I even published a special ‘zine’ for the occasion: Atomik Comix.This contains never before published underground stuff I’ve done over the years put together for this little zine as a prologue to a full blown Atomik Comix book I am secretly working on… More to come.

All this while going to conventions to promote the book and continuing to publish the comics page for my local news paper with contributions from Zombie Boy, Urban Jungle, Spudcomics, The Amaizing Jim Corn and PicPak! *phew!* 🙂

New Happy Comics Page!

Take a look at the new *Happy Comics* page in the Kingwood Monthly newspaper! A real comics page in a real newspaper, woohoo! It looks great and that’s thanks to terrific cartoonists Mark Stokes of Zombie Boy Comics, Mark Wilborn of Urban Jungle, Lonnie Easterling of Spudcomics and Michael Hawkins of Jim Corn! The August issue is being put together as we speak. Good stuff! 🙂

ICECUBES Syndication Submissions.

ICECUBES is being submitted for syndication to major newspapers. This would be the culmination of all the hard work put in over the years and the great support you have shown all along. But I can’t do this without you! It’s easy to help out, all you need to do is click on this link to the ICECUBES Facebook page and read some ICECUBES comic strips. Click on the pages you like the best and the pages with the most ‘likes’ will get submitted to the syndicates. This way you are helping to make sure they see the strips you like the most.

I can’t tell you how much your support for ICECUBES means. I create the strip for you and always have you in mind.
