    So great Beau! Icecubes comic so much fun. And I LOVED your YouTube interview… what a journey inspired by comics as a kid which sparked your creativity & tech smarts through the years & … print, TV, MTV,digital, web, magazines & art. What you’re doing now so clever in the iPhone space too. Lastly those Tin Tim & Casper images have planted a big smile on my face. I’m a kid again for today. Xxx

New Happy Comics Page!

Happy Comics page newspaper Take a look at the new *Happy Comics* page in the Kingwood Monthly newspaper! A real comics page in a real newspaper, woohoo! It looks great and that’s thanks to terrific cartoonists Mark Stokes of Zombie Boy Comics, Mark Wilborn of Urban Jungle, Lonnie Easterling of Spudcomics and Michael Hawkins of Jim Corn! The August issue is being put together as we speak. Good stuff! 🙂

ICECUBES Syndication Submissions.

Dear Fans! ICECUBES is being submitted for syndication to major newspapers. This would be the culmination of all the hard work put in over the years and the great support you have shown all along. But I can’t do this without you! It’s easy to help out, all you need to do is click on this link to the ICECUBES Facebook page and read some ICECUBES comic strips. Click on the pages you like the best and the pages with the most ‘likes’ will get submitted to the syndicates. This way you are helping to make sure they see the strips you like the most. I can’t tell you how much your support for ICECUBES means. I create the strip for you and always have you in mind. Sketches for strip #0211.

These are some sketches for ICECUBES the comic strip #0211 featuring Freeze and Peckinpaw. Freeze trips while playing with his phone device and Peckinpaw makes a remark about technology. I always make prelim sketches before committing to the original. It helps me figure out placement, body attitudes and action. In this example you can also see some of the writing process. The writing is never done until the final lettering is inked. I even make changes before publishing if something doesn’t sit right! 🙂 Here’s the final strip:
