Well, cool ICECUBES fans, here it is! ICECUBES the comic strip #300!! Wow, what an amazing adventure. From it's humble beginnings years ago as an idea to do a strip about an Eskimo, a Penguin, a Polar Bear and a Walrus to several books, conventions and tons of new friends! Thank you all so much for being readers and fans of ICECUBES. It's so much fun to make the strip for you guys to read. Here's to 300 more! :D Leroy Brown

Hello friends! The year is almost over and it’s just about time to take a look back at everything ICECUBES has achieved in 2012. The one thing we can all agree on is that everyone wants more new strips! Of course, I do too. For now though I am basically a one man show, with help from my family and occasionally great people like Richard Evans at Bedrock City Comics. Sometimes things take a little longer than I would like and until ICECUBES is financially successful, making money for my family has to take precedence. So, the best way to see more strips more often is to support ICECUBES. Buy a book! It makes a great Christmas present that the whole family can enjoy! You can even get it at your local comic book store if you live in Houston, Chicago or New Orleans. If your store doesn’t carry it, ask them to! And if you want to buy a copy from me directly online, I’ll be sure to autograph it for you!

Big News!

Just got back from Wizard World in New Orleans. ICECUBES the book “Noise Is News” was a big hit and we made lots of new fans. I want to thank all of you who stopped by the table, it was great to get a chance to talk with you.
The big news is that ICECUBES the book is now available in several comic book stores across the country!
First I would like to give a big thanks to Bedrock City Comics in Houston for featuring “Noise Is News” in all 4 of their stores! I would also like to thank Graham Crackers Comics in Chicago for carrying the book as well! And in New Orleans, you can buy the book at Crescent City Comics! This is great news for ICECUBES fans! Support your local comic book shop and go get your new copy of “Noise Is News” at these fine stores! As some of you may know by now, ICECUBES the comic strip will be featured at Wizard World New Orleans Comicon. I will be signing the new book “Noise Is News” and limited quantities of the numbered artist edition will be available too. Nash Car.

Every now and then I’ll post something just for fun even if it’s kinda random. Here’s a 1947 add for Nash Motors. This is a beautiful example of the ‘streamline’ design style of the 30s and 40s period. A lot of trains, planes and cars had this type of design (even some buildings, ie: Chrysler Building). I think it represents a feeling of optimism, modern comfort, style and the idea of ‘going big’ that unfortunately is so lacking nowadays. Perhaps it might inspire us to dream about the past and imagine better things for the future. Nash Motors on Wikipedia.
